Hello! I’m Terra. Let me tell you a little bit about myself…

I believe there is so much magic in a photograph. It allows something to keep on existing, even after it’s gone. I strive to capture moments authentically but cleverly, using light, color and composition to make things compelling and beautiful.

I live in Portland with my little family and I am thankful every day that I get to do something I love as a career. I got my BFA in photography from California College of the Arts in 2009, and then promptly moved back home to Oregon where my heart is. When i’m not taking photos I enjoy spending time with my family, road trips, camping, croquet, dancing, board games, large bodies of water, lobsters, flannels, champagne, accordions, the color yellow, and adventures! Life is good.
